Welcome

Hi! I'm Nate. I'm a Junior in high school. I like to work hard, and respect the value working hard. I do not believe in trying to come off cool all the time around my friends and I don't listen to Nickelback! I really can't stand sitting down for long periods of time and trying to apply my mind. It's okay if its for around 2 hours but after that I can't focus on anything. I just have to stand up and do something else for a while. ANYWAYS,

This school year I am going to be learning some valuable skills in the trades. I desire most to become an electrician (I really don't know why, I know next to nothing about being one), but am also hoping to learn masonry, and maybe a couple others like framing or drywall. Hopefully all of the above! I can't say I think any one of these skills will be the most challenging of all, because I think they're all going to be difficult.
I've talked to a few guys already and it sounds like I've got a couple of almost for-sure jobs already. I will be blogging my adventures with pictures probably a lot more blogs. Stay tuned!

Nate you surely have changed your interest. How cool that you have so many interest. By the way you are the coolest of the cool. I have also had a little change of interst. I wish I could show you new hobby. I have the sweetest ride you every saw. I got a new ATV. Power steering, fuel injected, independent suspension,
It is a 550 grizzly. It is the best ride in town. I really llike it. Hope that you and I can ride together someday.
Continue to persue you new interest, but don't stop cooking!! Especially the brownies and cookies.

You helped me re-roof the barn, rip down window stock on a table saw and cut trim for a kitchen remodel and all kinds of other stuff this summer. You pick things up quickly, even if you have an overly concerned mentor sometimes.

You will do fine.

and I've noticed that you're not afraid of hard work. That's a good thing. I love the feeling of accomplishment after turning lumber into something else. It's sweet.

I am going to call an electrician friend who is busy all the time to see what the chances are of you teaming up with him for while.
